City Engineering Services
In 2014, the City of Mustang (City) selected Cowan Group Engineering (CGE) to serve as the “City Engineer” and utilize our proven professional services “On-Demand” agreement.
Upon execution of the agreement, CGE performed a variety of services for the City including a citywide water model and capital improvements plan, 3.0 MGD wastewater reclamation facility rehabilitation including Category II reuse system, advertising and negotiating the water and sewer utility operations agreement, and a groundwater treatment review and recommendation.
CGE also provided a lift station 2 assessment and recommendation, coordination and execution of all development reviews, design, bidding and administration of a new 900,000 gallon ground storage tank, an OPDES permit update application, and a sewer collection system evaluation and recommendation.
CGE has developed a lasting working relationship with the City and has continued to do work such as multiple storm sewer drainage assessments throughout the City, raw water transmission line replacement design, bidding and administration, Mustang Road 12-inch waterline relocation design, bidding and administration, lift station 4 recommendation for replacement and design, and an industrial gasket sewer line replacement.
In addition, 89th Street improvements design, CDBG grant application for street improvements, design, bidding and administration of splash pad water and sewer utilities, design, bidding and administration of Meadow Lane sewer relocation, and design, bidding and administration of a composite water tower rehabilitation.
Projects have also included design, bidding and administration of County Line water tower rehabilitation and attending monthly council meetings and planning commission meetings.
